» Hoyle, Tanner announces new structural engineering manager
MANCHESTER, N.H. — Hoyle, Tanner & Associates Inc. has announced it has furthered its commitment to quality engineering and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) with the addition of Peter Griem, P.E., as the structural engineering manager of its Land Development and Building Structural Group.
IPD is a process that integrates people, business structures, and practices to optimize project results, reduce waste, and maximize efficiency through all phases of design, fabrication, and construction.
Griem comes to Hoyle, Tanner with nearly 15 years of experience and is highly regarded in the industry for his work on institutional building projects throughout the northeast. His expertise includes structural design, coordination and inspection of buildings. He has utilized an innovative approach to Building Information Modeling (BIM), capitalizing and its benefits as a platform for both design and fabrication information.
Griem is also active in national building code development as a member of the National Council of Structural Engineers Association’s Code Advisory Committee and the National Institute of Building Sciences’ Building Seismic Safety Council Code Resource Support Committee.
