DEERFIELD, ILL. — The AIA BIM Protocol Exhibit E202 defines the BIM Levels of Development (LOD) as 100, 200, 300, and 400. According to a recent online poll on www.IPDChannel.net, the majority of respondents are unaware of this document (69%). While many are aware of this document (25%), only a handful of practitioners have used it (5%). Are you aware of this document?

Local firms utilize BIM and IPD to deliver new Autodesk facility Autodesk
BOSTON — Autodesk has announced that it is opening a 65,000 square-foot office building in Waltham, Mass., to serve as the new headquarters for its architecture, engineering & construction (AEC) division. The interior of the building is being designed and constructed with Autodesk's portfolio of products for building information modeling (BIM) and is the first project in New England to use the integrated project delivery (IPD) model.

Engineer to help lead IPD discussion at Greenbuild 2010 Exponent.com
CHICAGO — Exponent Engineer Kevin Coyne will be participating in the 2010 Greenbuild International Conference Nov. 17-19, 2010 in Chicago. Coyne and two other presenters will impart a panel entitled, “Integrated Project Delivery and BIM: Essential Tools for Earning LEED Certification.”

NASHVILLE, TENN. — Touting the utilization of the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) method, Gresham, Smith and Partners (GS&P) has announced the completion of Middle Tennessee Medical Center (MTMC) located on 68.5 acres in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

Win-win for IPD and Autodesk  IIDA
NORTH READING, MASS. — The IIDA New England Forums Committee has announced a special tour and case study presentation of Autodesk AEC headquarters. Autodesk's offices were designed using an IPD process enabled by BIM software which assisted the KlingStubbins|Autodesk|Tocci design team in exceeding the project's design, budget and timeline goals.
