$6.1 billion Thames Tideway Tunnel Project standardizes on Bentley’s ProjectWise  Bentley
EXTON, Pa. – Bentley Systems, Incorporated, the leading company dedicated to providing comprehensive software solutions for sustaining infrastructure, announced that the Thames Tideway Tunnel team has standardized on Bentley’s ProjectWise to provide collaboration, work sharing, and engineering content management for Thames Water’s Thames Tideway Tunnel project. The project is designed to address the issue of combined sewage discharges from London’s Victorian-era sewer system that enter the tidal River Thames, and thereby enhance water quality and help sustain the river for future generations. CH2M HILL, a global leader in consulting, design, design-build, operations, and program management, is serving as program manager for this massive $6.1 billion project. As a long-time Bentley user, CH2M HILL is confident in the ability of the ProjectWise system of collaboration servers and services to increase the project team’s productivity and decrease costs in delivering this project by providing information mobility across disciplines and project phases with data integrity. Additional Bentley software being used on the project includes Structural Modeler, AECOsim Building Designer, STAAD, InRoads, gINT, Bentley Navigator, and ProjectWise InterPlot.

Bricsys announces beta version of BricsCAD BIM module 
GHENT, Belgium and MERRIMACK, N.H. – Bricsys, a global provider of dwg engineering design software brought to market under the BricsCAD brand, today announced the immediate availability of the beta version of the BricsCAD BIM Module for the Windows operating system. This add-on module for Building Information Modeling is available for free to users of the Pro and Platinum edition of BricsCAD V13.2 (32-bit).

BIMobject Releases Cloud Integration App for ArchiCAD  BIMobject

BSD releases materials library for Autodesk's Revit BSD
ATLANTA – Building Systems Design, Inc. (BSD) today announced the release of a Revit 2013 Materials Library that is pre-linked to BSD SpecLink-E, BSD's automated construction specifications software, through the latest version of its BSD LinkMan-E add-on. The 1,600 materials in the library, when applied to Revit elements such as walls or floor assemblies, will automatically connect the Revit elements to the corresponding specifications in BSD SpecLink-E.
