Let’s face it: Roundabouts have poor public perception in the United States, even though a properly designed modern roundabout may be the perfect solution to a new or redesigned intersection.  This webinar will highlight an efficacious project in Johnston, Iowa, that successfully introduced four modern roundabouts into a single corridor despite initial denial or reluctance from the owner and key stakeholders.  Using Bentley software such as MicroStation, GEOPAK, and LEAP, Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC used innovative techniques to inform and educate the public and key stakeholders of the benefits and the logistics of how roundabouts would prevail as the preferred solution for the NW 62nd Avenue Improvements project.
